On the day of the surgery, the doctor told me that the procedure will take about 30 minutes. They used local anesthesia. I felt a slight burning sensation but then I didn't feel a thing. After sometime I started feeling excruciating pain. I felt like some animal had torn me open and was eating my flesh. The sound of Mozart music playing in the operating theater was overpowered by the conversation of doctor and the nurse. I could hear them talk about the rapid blood loss. I bore the pain for about 20 minutes and after over an hour my "Lipoma" was out.
Doctor told me that the Lipoma was deeper than he had expected and it had some blood vessels feeding it, that caused the blood loss and hence he had to move quickly which caused the pain. The Lipoma seemed like a piece of sweet and sour chicken piece. He said that he was going to send it to the pathology lab for testing and that I was good to go.
I came home and after 4-5 days of pain and inconvenience I got "better".
